New Years Eve and Welcome 2012
We wanted to do something different this year for New Years Eve and something that would be fun for all three of us. So we decided that we were to go Nashville and spend the night at the Opryland Hotel and get to see all of the lights and things that they had going on there. We knew Ailise would love all the lights and things they had going on.
We left out early Saturday morning and went to Cool Springs to do some shopping. We went to the Nike store which was having so good sales, Old Navy (we did not have much luck there) and to Party City to buy some of her birthday decorations. The Minnie Mouse selection had been really picked over but I did find a few things. We went to the mall for a little bit then headed to the hotel to check in. The hotel was very very busy. The music city bowl game had been Friday night and a lot of Mississippi State fans were staying at the hotel. We probably will not go back on New Years Eve just because of the crowd size but we had a blast. We had a traditional room but it was still really nice. After we got checked in and settled we got back out and went to eat at Bob Evans. Well of course Ailise did not want to eat but that’s nothing new.
When we got back to the hotel the parking lot was crazy full. We went back to our room and rested for awhile and Ailise ran around the room and played on the beds which she loved. Once it got dark we got out and walked around the hotel and looked at all of the lights and decorations. Ailise LOVED it. She especially liked when we went to the open areas by the ball rooms and meetings room that were not very crowded and she was able to run and run. The decorations were beautiful and they still had all of dream works things going on around the hotel.
