Doctors Appointment Update

Ailise went for her 9 month check up last week. We got a good reports and it was a good visit because we did not have to get any shots!!!!
She weighed in at 19 pounds 10 ounces and was 28 inches long. So she is growing good and still falling between the 50 and 75% for both height and weight.
The doctor said that everything looked good and her ears still  looked clear and that all of her congestion is more than likly allergies. He suggested that we switch to Zyrtec instead of Claritan and see if that does any better controlling her symptoms.
Well this is just a short update. We will have a regular post in a few weeks with lots of pictures including Ailise's First Halloween. Everyone have a saf and fun Halloween!!

9 Months!!

Well another month has flown by and are sweet princess is now 9 months old. This just does not seem possible. Fall is definitely is in the air now and are allergies are in full swing.

Well before I get into this post which I am sorry but it will probably end up being lengthy just like most of the others, here are Ailise’s 9 month pictures from her photo session at Wal_mart. They all turned out so good I had such a hard time deciding.

Well I think we have been sick more this months then we have been well. It is allergies and congestion but we can not seem to get rid of it. Ailise was starting to sound better then last Friday it hit again. Poor thing. We had to miss her cousin’s birthday party at the pumpkin patch because of all this congestion. We were disappointed to have to miss but she did not need to be out in the cool windy weather.

**Ailise does not go for her 9th month check up until the 18th of the month so I will try to update then with the results from that.

**With all of this congestion stuff has come another month of not sleeping well. We were waking up once or twice most nights. But the past few nights have been better so hopefully we are getting back on track.

**Ailise still eats very well. She normally eats cereal one fruit and vegetable each day and has 3 or 4 6 oz bottles each day. She eats all of her fruits and vegetables very well. I have tried to feed her some mashed potatoes a few times from my plate but she is not huge fan. I don’t know if it’s the texture she does not like what. She will have some juice and puffs sometimes during the day also.

**She loves her Sippy cup but sometimes she makes such a mess because she thinks of there is anything in the cup she has to drink it all at once.

**We only have our 2 bottom teeth still but we are chewing and drooling like crazy so maybe we will have some top teeth before to long.

**Ailise is now crawling on all 4’s. She will still army crawl sometimes if she is wanting to get somewhere faster. When crawls on all 4’s she is much slower than when she army crawls. It is so fun to watch her crawl and go after things that she sees. She is all over the house now so its time to start double checking our childproofing.

**I don’t know how long she will crawl because loves to be standing up and walking holding on to your hands or something.

**Ailise can now pull up and stand just about anytime she wants to now. I have gone into her room twice now and found her standing in her baby bed. So looks like we will have to lower her mattress before to long.

**Ailise is such a happy baby and has a great personality. Wade and I laugh her more and more every day I think. She is now making a lot of different faces and they are so funny. She loves to mock Wade. They can sit in the floor and talk back and forth for so long and it is so funny.

** She can now say dada, momma, hi, sometimes bye and now she is say nah nah. She can clap really good and she waves. Sometimes she plays with her fingers and it looks like she is trying to snap but I have no clue what she is really doing. She also has her pincer grasp down really good also. She can pick up little puffs and put them in her mouth with both hands and switch them between hands.

**Looks like discipline is going to be a hard area for us. Whenever we tell her no she will scrunch up nose and grunt and shake her head I try not to laugh at her though because we have to teach her no, especially with the holidays and decorations coming up.

** Ailise loves bath time still but I think we are going to move her into the big bathtub because she keeps trying to climb out of her little tub. I think she would stay in the bath and splash and play for hours if we would let her.

**I bought her a little shape sorter toy at a yard sale a few weeks ago and that is one of her favorite things to play with right now. She does not know how to put the shapes in the right spot but she does know how take the lid off and dump them all out and sometimes she puts them back in. Once she has them dumped out she loves to bang them together. Right now she thinks that she can bang everything together. It’s so funny because she will talk and dance while she is making all the noise.

**Ailise definitely loves music. It does not matter what type of music it is she will dance and bob to it. Her little gym plays music and now she will stand up and hold onto the gym make it play music and bounce up and down to it.

**We took Ailise to the Evansville zoo for the first time this month. She did really well. I’m sure she really knew what to think about all of the animals. She stayed awake the whole time until we were on the last stretch toward the exit and then she slept the whole way home. Wade’s mom and dad went with us also. We all had fun.

**Diaper changing has turned into a big job now days. She will lay still for about 30 seconds long enough to get her diaper off but then she is rolling over and wanting to crawl away.
