Hopefully by me posting so many time throughout the month this post will not get as long as some of the past few months post.
Ailise went for her one year check up yesterday. She weighed 22 lbs and was 29 inches long. I hope her length is accurate because she was not very cooperative at all with the nurse that was taking the measurement. She was not very cooperative at all while we were at the doctor. She was fine in the waiting room and fine in the exam room as long as no one was touching her. He said that her growth looked good asked about her development milestone and said that we could switch her off formula and onto Vitamin D milk and table food.

**Ailise is now WALKING. She took off and started walking on January 8th. She would take one or two steps for a months of so now but then she just off on her own and she is all over the house. It is fun to watch her walk. Wade says that she looks like Frankenstein. But she is getting the hang of it really quick.
**She still only has 2 teeth. I am really starting to wonder if she is ever going to get anymore.
**Ailise has started to get pickier when it comes to eating. She is still not eating the greatest but when she is hungry she will eat. I guess she is to busy now to take time to eat very much. She says num num when she wants to eat and while she is eating.
**Bath time is still her favorite time of the day I think. She would plays so much when she is taking a bath. She will stay in until she is wrinkled and still cry whenever I take her out. Now when I ask her if she is ready to get out she will shake her head no and say no no no.
**Ailise loves to look out her bedroom window now. She will stand at the window and try to push the blinds up until I go and raise them for her. But now she has started to try to hit anything that she is holding on the window.
**She laughs all the time now. We love to her those sweet laughs. She will really laugh hard if Wade is holding her and he tells her to get me then I turn around and act like I am going to get her. She laughs so hard.
**Ailise is such a sweet loving little girl. She gives the sweetest hugs and kisses now. She puts her little arms around my neck and pats me on the back. When she hugs Wade she will either hug his neck but her arm on his side and pat him and lay her head on his chest while I hold her.
**Ailise now says momma, dada, hi, thank you, get it, ball, nah nah, dog, she tries to say kitty, no no no, yeah, tries to say cookie,
** Sleep? Well some nights she sleeps really well and some nights we are up several times. It seems like she will sleep well for a couple nights and gets caught up then we have several bad nights. But we have had 2 ear infections since the first of December so this is not helping our sleeping. We are waiting to see an ENT in mid-February to see about getting tubes put in her ears. I am hoping this will help her.
**Ailise loves music. She will bob and dance to music and now it sounds like she is trying to sing her own song or hum to the music. She has always liked music but she responds more and more to it each day.
**Ailise loves to sit in the floor and play with her daddy. They will yell back and forth at each other and she really loves for him to crawl and chase her around the house. She will get laughing so hard when he does this.
**She did really well with the Christmas tree this year. She would get really close to it and just stare at it but she only touched it a few times toward the end. Her favorite thing with the tree was for one of us to hold her and she would point to the ornaments that play music and want us to push the button on them. She also loved to play any of the little musical animals that we had sitting around.
**Football season is almost over but it has been to watch this year. Every time that anyone would say touchdown she would but her hands up in the air like she was signaling a touch down.
**Ailise loves to give high fives. She will walk around with her hand out so that we will give her a five then she laugh. I don’t know what is so funny about high fives but she could give them for 10 minutes straight or more and laugh everytime.
**She will also do her arms like she is saying I don’t know. You will ask her where something is, like her ball and she will hold her hands out to side and look around.
Well this post has gotten long again. I could go on and on about the things that Ailise does because it seems to change everyday. I’m sorry of some of these pictures are duplicates from other post this month.
