17 Month update

Well May has already flown right by and summer weather is here in full force. It has been extremely hot here the last couple weeks, but I am not complaining. I would much rather it be hot then cold and snowing. This year is passing by so fast and our princess is growing up way to fast. I would definitely love to freeze time right now and keep her little forever. She is at such a fun age right now.
This past month has been a very busy month, as you can tell with several extra post this month. We traveled a lot in May the first week to Gulf Shores Alabama, the weekend of the 20th to Indianapolis, and Memorial Day weekend we went to Draffenville KY and last week we Ailise and I went to Evansville. I have to say I am very thankful to have such a happy and good personality little girl in our lives. She has traveled very well and enjoyed all of our activities.
Now let me see if I can remember what all Ailise has been up to and into this past month.

**Bath time is still a blast. She loves to be in the bath or really just be in water. She loves to splash water everywhere and play with all of her bath toys. Her new trick in the bathtub right now is that she will take one of her balls that squirt water and squeeze it and spray the water on the tub walls or on me and then she will laugh.

** Sleeping is still something comes and goes. She will do really good for several nights then we will have one or two bad nights. But the bad nights now are not like the bad nights we had when she was younger. Now our bad nights are when she goes to sleep for 45 min or so the wakes up and we can not get her back to sleep til 1030 or 1130. She will usually sleep anywhere from8 to 10 hours a night. But we are definitely down to one nap of about an hour to an hour and a half each day.

**She is still a pretty good eater most days. There are some days when she does not want to eat much but I think we all have those days sometimes. She will eat just about anything except for potatoes and bread. She still loves fruit and pasta a lot.

**Some new phrases that Ailise is saying now are
- Help Me
- One more
And some new words she says or tries to say are
-poppa
-papaw
-noodle
-yogurt

** She is absolutely loving being able to spend so much time outside. She plays outside over a meme's almost everyday. She loves to swing and just run around the yard. This last week she has been able to get in her little plastic pool over there also. We went to papaw's big pool for the first time of the summer last weekend and she loved it. We had gotten her a new float at toys r us and it really light weight and she is able to move herself by kicking her legs and she can still splash because it has mesh around the edges and water can still get in. She also loved for us to hold her in the pool and let her splash. My dad put a slide up this year but it is not quite ready for everyone to use but i made the mistake of lifting her up an sitting her on the edge of the slide and then bringing her down and letting her splash. Well after she did that once she wanted to do it over and over and over again.

**Ailise is turning to a major climber. She tries to climb on everything and she has absolutely no fear about it. She climbs on the couch the ottoman her new little drawing desk, she tries to climb in and out of the bathtub. She will climb on everything.
**She has been able to show you were her toes, nose and tongue are for several months now. Now she can show you where her belly, ears and eyes are at. It so cute to watch her point out these things.
**We are still very much in love with Elmo and Blue's Clues. She wants to watch at least two episodes every evening when we get home of Blue's Clues. Whenever the show comes on she will say "HI Steve" when it is over and they are saying bye she says bye also.
**She loves to try to help us with things. She tries to help put up groceries, tries to help meme sweep the floor ( but this usually turns disastrous for the cat), she wants to help with anything she can.
**Her imagine is amazing. She can pretend with just about anything that she has. I think this is why she had so much fun at the Children's Museum in Indy.
**Ailise has learned to say Chesse whenever I get my camera out now. This has made it a little harder to get candid pictures but she is so cute when she turns her head and scrunches up her nose and says cheese.
**Ailise is still a very loving and affectionate little girl. She loves to give hugs and kisses. She especially wants to give hugs and kisses if you are leaving now.
Well I guess that is all for her 17 month update that I can think of right now. Between this post and the several extra post this past month I think that covers most of our busy busy month.

Project 365 continues

Here are my pictures from June 7th. I can't believe our princess is 17 months old today. I promise I will get her monthly update up soon.

Memorial Day weekend and Our Anniversary.

Well once again this post is a little late but better late than never.
Memorial Day weekend always marks the start of summer to everyone and this year was no different, especially when it came the temperatures. It has been very very hot the last week and half here and mostly dry. Which after all the flooding earlier in May it is a needed relief.
Our weekend was packed full and we stayed busy the entire weekend. Saturday we had our annual get together at Mike Miller Park in Draffenville with friends and family. This is always so much fun and this year was the same. We got to the park around 11 or 1130 Saturday morning and we did not leave to head home til around 630. It was a hot day but when you were in a pavillions the temperature was comfortable. There seemed to be a good breeze blowing most of the day. We grilled food, played games and had lots of fun. Ailise spent a lot of time on the playground and walking around. When we played softball she watched from the dugout with a few other people who did not want to play so that worked out good Wade and I both got to play and she was very well attented to.
Sunday Wade and I spent the day out together to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. Our anniversary really was not until Monday but since my mom was in town and was happy to watch Ailise for the day we celebrated a day early. We drove the Z and went to Evansville and looked around and ate at Red Lobster then came back to Madisonville and went to watch Pirates of the Carribean. Mom and Dave kept Ailise from about 1130 (after church) til 830 or 9 when we got back from the movie. They all seemed to have fun together.
Monday, was real annniversary, I can not believe that we have already been married for two years. It does not seem like it has already been that long. I still remember the planning and getting ready for the big day like it was yesterday. We have now been together 13 years and married 2. These past two years have been great and I look to celebrating many more anniversaries with my wonderful husband.
One Monday Wade did all of the yard work and then we rearranged Ailise's room. She is getting to be such a big girl so we finally took her swing out of the room and the glider and ottoman out :(. Now she has more room to play.
Sorry this post is so late. I will try to get her 17 month update up in a more timely manner this week.

Project 365

I have decided that I want to try take on Project 365. This is suppose to be a project where you take at least one picture every day for a year and then turn all of your pictures into a photo book or whatever you want to use to remember the year. I know I am starting at an odd point in the year but the start of summer will bring about many photo opportunities so why not start now.
Here are my pictures so far for the project. One picture a day is hard so mine will probably be a collection of pictures each day.
