Memorial Day weekend and Our Anniversary.

Well once again this post is a little late but better late than never.
Memorial Day weekend always marks the start of summer to everyone and this year was no different, especially when it came the temperatures. It has been very very hot the last week and half here and mostly dry. Which after all the flooding earlier in May it is a needed relief.
Our weekend was packed full and we stayed busy the entire weekend. Saturday we had our annual get together at Mike Miller Park in Draffenville with friends and family. This is always so much fun and this year was the same. We got to the park around 11 or 1130 Saturday morning and we did not leave to head home til around 630. It was a hot day but when you were in a pavillions the temperature was comfortable. There seemed to be a good breeze blowing most of the day. We grilled food, played games and had lots of fun. Ailise spent a lot of time on the playground and walking around. When we played softball she watched from the dugout with a few other people who did not want to play so that worked out good Wade and I both got to play and she was very well attented to.
Sunday Wade and I spent the day out together to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. Our anniversary really was not until Monday but since my mom was in town and was happy to watch Ailise for the day we celebrated a day early. We drove the Z and went to Evansville and looked around and ate at Red Lobster then came back to Madisonville and went to watch Pirates of the Carribean. Mom and Dave kept Ailise from about 1130 (after church) til 830 or 9 when we got back from the movie. They all seemed to have fun together.
Monday, was real annniversary, I can not believe that we have already been married for two years. It does not seem like it has already been that long. I still remember the planning and getting ready for the big day like it was yesterday. We have now been together 13 years and married 2. These past two years have been great and I look to celebrating many more anniversaries with my wonderful husband.
One Monday Wade did all of the yard work and then we rearranged Ailise's room. She is getting to be such a big girl so we finally took her swing out of the room and the glider and ottoman out :(. Now she has more room to play.
Sorry this post is so late. I will try to get her 17 month update up in a more timely manner this week.
